Week 11 – Mo-ve over Mr Haaland, Salah’s coming through !

Week 11 – Mo-ve over Mr Haaland, Salah’s coming through !

Well, another entertaining week of Premier League football sadly comes to a pause for another tedious ‘Inter-lull’ – good news is this is the last International break till March and gives us some time to reflect on our Fantasy Football teams !! šŸ˜Š

Week 11’s Team of the Week witnesses premium midfielder B. Fernandes (Ā£6.4m) top scoring:-

He’s joined in the Team of the Week by some other players making their second appearance of the Season, those being J. Pickford (Ā£3.7m), A. Robinson (Ā£2.7m), M. Damsgaard (Ā£3.7m) and M. Cunha (Ā£3.6m) – all of these players could be cheap ‘dark horses’ to consider keeping an eye on…?

As predicted on last week’s blogšŸ˜†, Notts Forest duo M. Sels (Ā£3.2m) and C. Wood (Ā£3.5m) have been replaced by A. Onana (Ā£4.1m) who has now been in the Team of the Season for 7 out of 11 weeks, and B. Mbuemo (Ā£3.9m) respectively.

The Star Player of the Week – B. Fernandes (Ā£6.4m) makes his debut in the Team of the Season, replacing J. Maddison (Ā£5.2m) who started on the bench again for Spurs’ surprise defeat to Ipswich.

Liverpool’s 6th clean sheet of the season (interestingly Man Utd are second best with 5) consolidates their clean sweep of the Defender positions and, we have a new Star Player of the Season in M. Salah (Ā£7.2m) who is equal on points as E. Haaland (Ā£8.5m) but takes top spot for the first time this season courtesy of being Ā£1.3m cheaper ! šŸ‘

Liverpool and City clash at Anfield in Week 13…. šŸ˜Æ

Some of the names highlighted above also appear in the Six Week Form rank, found on the Player Stats Portal, so, well worth consideration, assuming of course they all come through unscathed from international duty….although this risk doesn’t apply to Salah and Cunha this time around….

When we do get back to action again in a fortnights time, Arsenal’s fixture difficulty improves and, aside from trips to the Emirates and City, Man Utd’s fixtures aren’t too bad either.

With their captain M. Odegaard (Ā£5.3m) back from injury we’d expect to see Arsenal pick up points but, let’s focus on Man Utd who will likely continue to benefit from a ‘new manager bounce’…?

United have jumped up 5 places to now sit fourth in total number of points, although with a very low amount of Goals and Assists one could conclude that it is to their Defence and Keeper and some key attacking individuals that we should look to…? For now at least… šŸ˜Š

Team of the Season members, A. Onana (Ā£4.1m) and B. Fernandes (Ā£6.4m) are the obvious best candidates, with N. Mazzaroul (Ā£3.7m) and, most popular at 19% owned by, D. Dalot (Ā£3.3m), good options for attacking defenders.

With Manchester United visiting Ipswich for the new manager, Ruben Amorim’s, debut we note they play later than almost all the other teams in Week 12….

IF you are contemplating ditching E. Haaland (Ā£8.5m), perhaps Week 12 is the time to do so with their Week 13 trip to Anfield looming?

Plus, Liverpool (Defence and Salah), Manchester United and Newcastle, A. Isak (Ā£5.2m) ? – all have attractive Week 12 fixtures….. and they all play AFTER City….. šŸ˜Š
