Week 36 – Soaring Eagles and Isak a major doubt

Well, a surprise victory for Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final on Saturday gives them their first ever major trophy and fittingly two players in the Team of the Week, D. Munoz (£2.7m) with an assist and clean sheet and D. Henderson (£2.8m) who is the star player of the week after an ‘eventful’ afternoon at Wembley! 😆
But for a subjectively ‘incorrect’ decision from the officials, Henderson could/should have been sent off and thus wouldn’t have been on the pitch to get his clean sheet and penalty save TFF points !

E. Eze (£3.9m) scored the winning goal but just misses out on the Team of the Week, although he’s firmly established now in the Team of the Season:-

J. Bowen (£5.3m) continues his goal scoring run but, misses out on the Affordable Team of the Season due to his lofty price tag. N. Milenkovic (£2.7m) is back in this week courtesy of his 5th goal of the season.
The teams with the extra fixture, namely Bournemouth, Wolves, City and Palace now top the TFF Fixture Ticker, as always available on the Player Stats Portal:-

It is probably to those sides you should look for any remaining transfers although beware of the Palace players who may be rested/on the beach/hungover from Saturday night?! 😂
City players make up the largest % transfer incoming (aside from Eze) as gamers look to take advantage of their additional fixtures and their motivation to qualify for next season’s Champs League:-

With A. Isak (£5.1m) who was in 47% of teams, a surprise exclusion and an injury doubt for Newcastle’s final fixture:-

it is no surprise that he’s the most transferred out player of the week with 5% of gamers ditching him:-

We’ll be sure to update injury news on Saturday before the final games of the season as Newcastle struggled in his absence so, with Champs League qualification at stake you can be sure Newcastle will be desperate to get him back if they can…
Next week we’ll do a season wrap up blog, including a deep dive into the stand out players of the season… and a very early glance towards 2025/26 ! 😊
