Week 33 – Domestic Treble remains on for City

Week 33 – Domestic Treble remains on for City

A partial double game week for the FA Cup semi-finalists and, even with a heavily rotated side Man City (just about!) progressed past the pluck Saints to set up a final with caretaker managed Chelsea. J. Doku (£4.4m) returned 2 assists and a goal across the two fixtures and is this week’s Star Player of the Week :-

Only changes to the Team of the Season are in terms of position, M. Guehi (£3.6m) is now the highest points scoring Defender and J. Bowen (£5.5m) moves up to second highest points scoring Midfielder.

Sunderland surprisingly shipped 5 goals against a resurgent Nottingham Forest, this has led to C. Kelleher (£3.1m) taking Roef’s spot in the Affordable Team of the Season:-

R. Cherki’s (£3.5m) continued good form alongside City’s number of fixtures led to a 4% increase this week in % Picked By, however these gamers weren’t particularly well rewarded in terms of points scored with just 4 notched !

Being ditched are the woefully underperforming Chelsea star’s J. Pedro (£4.5m) and C. Palmer (£6.2m 🙂

City’s progress to the FA Cup final leaves them now with 6 games left ! although watch out for more ‘Pep Roulette’ in terms of his starting XI…

Chelsea and Palace have 5 remaining fixtures. Week 37 will now offer up some final double game week opportunities for FA Cup finalists City and Chelsea and the previous week blanking Spurs and Bournemouth:-

Some less obvious and thus low % owned by players in form you may wish to consider bringing in for the final stretch of games :-

J. Bowen (£5.5m) is now the second highest points scoring midfielder moving above the much lauded B. Fernandes (£6.4m) but Bruno remains in nearly twice as many gamers sides as Bowen..

M. Gibbs-White (£3.8m) has been in the Team of the Week two weeks in a row and has scored nearly 30 points in the last 2 game weeks alone !

C. Casemiro (£3.7m) continues to grab goals and score points as does K. Dewsbury-Hall (£3.6m). Both of these two picks are in under 2% of sides.

I. Maciel de Cruz (£2.9m) more commonly known as Igor Jesus has also been banging the goals in and is in < 1% of teams.

Finally, we noted J. Doku (£4.4m) earlier, he is in just 3.5% of teams, far less than some of his City midfield team mates and thus could be a great differentiator if you’re playing catch-up…
