Week 15 – Get ready for a hectic festive period !
Another exciting weekend of Premier League only action, setting us up for a bumper period of festive football, starting with some Carabao Cup games this evening actually so, let’s get to it ! 😊
Forest’s impressive 3-0 victory over an increasingly hapless looking Spurs side 😆led by our star player of the week, C. Hudson-Odoi (£3.1m) having an involvement in all 3 goals.

Another change in formation for the Team of the Season with Midfielders now overtaking defensive assets. Firstly Sunderland’s victory and clean sheet in the first Tyne Wear derby for nearly a decade results in R. Roefs (£2.6m) reclaiming the Goalkeeping spot from D. Raya (£4.4m).
M. Lacroix (£3.0m) and R. Calafiori (£4.2m) are replaced by B. Fernandes (£6.4m) who, somewhat surprisingly for the highest priced midfielder, makes his debut this season in the top side and in the process moves up to the highest points scoring Midfielder with 86 points !
He’s joined by A. Semenyo (£3.1m) who breaks his recent form points drought in a crazy 4-4 goal fest at Old Trafford to re-enter the top side.
We’ve now got fixtures coming thick and fast:-

and Partial or fully Double game weeks for the next month ! 😯
With Afcon, injuries, suspensions and inevitable rotation, I hope you’ve saved up some transfers to get us through this hectic period?! With that in mind, let’s dive into some less obvious Transfer targets:-

Whilst Team of the Season members P. Foden (£5.4m) and B. Fernandes (£6.4m) top the form charts, the Weekly Form Comparison, Page 8 on the Player Stats Portal – also highlights some interesting ‘new’ budget options in the form of H. Wilson (£2.9m), M. Gusto (£3.4m) and M. Rogers (£3.8m).
Aston Villa are bottom of the Fixture Difficulty rankings but, Rogers has his eye on a World Cup starting spot so, could still pick up points despite Villa’s lack of Carabao Cup action and four ! tricky away games in London including a tough FA Cup fixture at Spurs (although one would think he’ll be less at risk of rotation than some of his rivals?)
Bargain enabler H. Wilson (£2.9m) has been in fine form and Fulham have some relatively good forthcoming fixtures. He’s also owned by just 2% of gamers, as opposed to the more popular Rogers:-

The Chelsea defence has been performing much better of late and they have a run of very favourable fixtures, including two Cup games against lower league opponents.
R. Sanchez (£3.6m) tops the keeper form charts and is owned by just 6% of (loyal!) gamers :-

M. Gusto’s (£3.4m) 15 point weekly haul moves him to top of the Defenders form charts alongside team-mates T. Chalobah (£3.3m) and M. Cucurella (£3.8m). Gusto is in just 1% 😯 of teams mind you making him a great differentiating option :-

Final thought for this week, a look at the Team Stats show’s Chelsea, Brighton and Fulham with relatively low % Picked By stats, and Chelsea and Brighton in particular scoring very well…

Right, get those fingers on the Transfer buttons 😆 – and keep a firm eye on Chelsea’s starting line-up tonight against Cardiff…..?
