Week 26 – A Win for Wolves ! and key player injury worries..
A fantastic result for rock bottom Wolves (2-0 against, now 4th placed Villa!) kicked off Week 26 and that gives us 5 Wolves players in the Team of the Week, although it is M. Damsgaard (£3.9m) of high-flying Brentford who grabs the Star Player of the Week award :-

A number of worrying injuries for Team of the Season members (more to follow on that !) but, at time of writing only B. Guimaraes (£4.2m) is officially ruled out for a significant period so, the Affordable and Available Team of the Season looks like this:-

The only change to last week’s side see’s mis-firing E. Fernandez (£4.3m) dropping out of the side with bargain H. Wilson (£2.9m) replacing him.
Back to those injury worries – most notable is the “not a big issue” for Star Player of the Season, E. Haaland (£8.3m) who, unexpectedly was missing completely from City’s 1-0 win at Leeds:-

Other popular players with doubts include Arsenal stars D. Raya (£4.4m) and Team of the Season member D. Rice (£4.8m) aswell as the aforementioned H. Wilson (£2.9m).
Some 7% of ‘on the ball’ gamers took no chances with E. Haaland (£8.3m) and have taken him out of their sides ! A risky move were he to return mid-week at home to Forest….

M. Rogers (£3.8m) has failed to deliver an attacking return since game week 23 and 6% of his ownership have clearly had enough…
The 2% of gamers that perhaps swapped Rogers/Haaland for Man Utd form players B. Fernandes (£6.4m) and/or B. Sesko (£5.1m) were promptly rewarded with 10 and 7 points respectively !

Personally we struggle to tip Utd players due to the difficulty and lack of any Cup forthcoming fixtures:-

NB – Man City (and to a lesser extent, Palace) are way out in front on the above because they and Crystal Palace have a, yet to be scheduled fixture, most probably in Game Week 32. Click here for the League only Fixture ticker from which our TFF customised draws its inspiration..
So, a league and then FA Cup double game week coming up and the opportunity via the above to really maximise transfers…. e.g. taking out an Everton player after their early fixture at home to Burnley and you could get a number of fixtures for that position from a later playing/Cup side replacement…!
As we hit the crunch part to the season everything is changing so quick but, here’s a look at the recent form guide to maybe give you some ideas on Transfers In…. :-

NB – we’ll upload an injury update on Tuesday Afternoon….
