Week 7 – Super Semenyo

Back to Premier League only this week and our last week of action before an Inter-lull pause 🙄 A. Semenyo’s (£3.1m) brace of goals and an assist makes him the Star Player of the Week and moves him closer to E. Haaland (£8.3m) who remains the highest points scorer of the season so far.

A special mention for Semenyo – at just £3.1m he’s less than half the price of Haaland (and the mis-firing Salah!), has been in the Team of the Season since week 1, has appeared in the Team of the Week now 3 times out of the 7 and is now in 53% of teams – he started the season in just 27% of teams 😊

A 4-5-1 formation for the Team of the Week and Team of the Season leaves us with the unusual game scenario of mis-firing strikers (other than Haaland of course). The closest Striker to the team is now I. Thiago (£3.6m) of Brentford with 37 points with popular pick J. Pedro (£4.5m) continuing to struggle on 33 points.

N. Pope (£4.1m) makes his debut in this week’s Team of the Season and J. Timber‘s (£4.3m) 10 point weekly haul returns him to the top side.
